Rogers Indoor Turf Facility
Terra Construction completed the construction of an 88,000-square-foot, multi-purpose indoor athletic facility for the City of Rogers designed to serve a wide range of community recreation needs. The facility accommodates sports including lacrosse, baseball, soccer, and football, and features a 100-yard National Federation of State High School Associations-compliant soccer field housed beneath a pre-engineered stretched fabric structure.
Interior amenities included a walking track, indoor playground, batting cages, and a dedicated space for the Thumbs Up after-school program, along with provisions for future office expansion. The project incorporated precast concrete construction for the mezzanine level, including precast walls and hollow-core plank systems, and was roughed in for future scoreboard installation.
Exterior improvements included construction of a 279-stall parking lot, retaining walls, and new connections to City utilities. Terra worked closely with the Parks & Recreation division on this Local Option Sales Tax (LOST)-funded project and collaborated during early budgeting and right-sizing efforts, ultimately delivering a facility that doubled the originally planned building size by transitioning from a traditional precast structure to a more cost-effective pre-engineered fabric solution.
