Cargill GEOS Pilot Plant
This project delivered the ground-up construction of a new pilot plant for Cargill’s Global Edible Oil Solutions (GEOS) business, significantly expanding the company’s food innovation capabilities in the Twin Cities. The facility, now tripling the size of Cargill’s existing pilot operations, includes the full building shell and supporting infrastructure required for advanced research and production.
Beyond the pilot plant, the building features a fully equipped chemistry lab with fume hoods, along with specialized, environmentally controlled storage areas for raw materials and finished products. Designed to support the refining and blending of edible oils and shortenings, the space enables food scientists to collaborate more efficiently in a single location, streamlining development and accelerating the path from concept to market.
