Bloomington Fire Station #4
This project involved the demolition of the City of Bloomington’s existing 4,429 sf Fire Station #4 and construction of a modern, 25,286 sf facility designed to meet the evolving needs of the department and community. The new station features three apparatus bays to accommodate current and future emergency vehicles, along with dedicated office space, a large training room to support ongoing firefighter education, and living accommodations that promote comfort and readiness for 24-hour shifts.
To prioritize firefighter health and safety, the facility incorporates advanced decontamination areas, gear storage systems, and clean/dirty separation zones to reduce exposure to carcinogens and other hazards.
