Apple Valley Splash Valley Water Park

The Apple Valley Family Aquatic Center improvement project modernizes the facility to enhance sustainability, accessibility, and the overall guest experience. Key upgrades include replacement of the pool’s mechanical equipment and filtration system to significantly improve water conservation, refurbishment of slides and interactive water features, and enhancements to the front entrance to create a more efficient and welcoming arrival process. The project also includes renaming and re-theming the facility, expanding shaded areas throughout the pool deck, improving the concessions space, and renovating the bathhouse—including locker rooms, changing areas, restrooms, and showers—to ensure an inclusive, comfortable, and accessible environment for all patrons.

Terra supported these goals by installing energy-efficient pool systems, selecting durable and low-maintenance materials to support long-term performance, incorporating additional shade structures to improve comfort and reduce heat exposure, and adding rooftop solar panels on the concessions and pool equipment building to provide on-site renewable energy generation. Together, these improvements create a more sustainable, resilient, and user-focused aquatic facility that will serve the community for years to come.
