This project included construction manager at risk services on the renovation and addition to North Shoemaker Hall. One of the oldest buildings on campus, we worked closely with the owner, architect and consultants during the design phase to provide accurate and detailed cost estimates, phasing schedules and site logistic plans. We also identified and procured an early conveying system bid package to ensure the elevator would be supplied and installed on schedule. We also led the required Subcontractor RFQ process to ensure that the short-listing and subcontractor approval process followed state guidelines. This project utilized the OSHA voluntary inspection process to insure safety and communication on this relatively small site.
