This project included construction management services on the renovation and addition to East and West Shoemaker Halls – traditional six and four story, dormitory-style student housing buildings with a two-story connecting commons building. The project included 174 resident rooms (310 beds), creating common areas, new bathrooms, accessible bathrooms,
student lounges, kitchenettes, recycling areas, accessible staff apartment, new entrance addition, storage, data, and mechanical/electrical systems. We led the required subcontractor RFQ process; issued multiple bid packages and worked closely with the owner and architect in providing accurate cost estimates, cost comparisons and establishing the GMP.
