Overview:

Terra is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This position is an office position and typically assumes responsibility for assisting in the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project.

 

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with budget and schedule development and maintenance, assure quality control, contract compliance and administration, project administration systems management and management of assigned job site personnel, supervising subcontractors on site and overseeing equipment utilization on the project. In addition, this person may assist in administering site specific safety plans and programs and maintaining owner relations in the field.

  

Qualifications:
  • Zero to 5 years’ experience in all aspects of managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes

  • Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management, a related degree, or relevant years of experience

  • Strong computer skills; experience with construction management software such as CMiC, Procore, Plangrid, Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, or other project management software

  • Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings

  • Local travel may be required

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

  • Work independently, as well as part of a team

  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organization/time management skills 

  • Thorough and incredibly detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies 

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints

Overview:

Terra is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (PM).  The PM will oversee and manage all activities of a project and typically assumes responsibility for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project.  Experience working on projects in the healthcare and education markets is a plus, but not required.

 

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:  Providing leadership for multiple construction projects, managing budget and schedule development, permitting, construction and project closeout. Additionally, the PM is accountable for contract compliance and administration, project administration systems, administration of safety programs as well as management of assigned job site personnel. The PM is also responsible for leading and directing the project team while maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders.

  

Qualifications:
  • 15 years + of related experience managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes 

  • Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or a related degree, or relevant years of experience 

  • Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings 

  • Travel and temporary relocation may be required 

  • Work independently as well as part of a team 

  • Self-starter and motivated; needs minimal supervision 

  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done 

  • Thorough and incredibly detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies 

  • Strong computer skills including, MS Project and Excel. Experience with Procore preferred 

  • Strong organizational/time management skills
